Back on the calendar after a 20-year break, the event is continuing to make great strides since its reintroduction three years ago.

Nine full-size vintage traction engines and three miniatures, many of which have been painstakingly restored, were paraded through the village for the gathered crowds.

Visitors were also treated to two fairground organs, including a famous Gavioli Military Band Organ.

“There was also a great assortment of narrowboats on the canal,” commented organiser Jack Hardman, who praised visitors and volunteers for helping raise hundreds of pounds for the local air ambulance, the event’s nominated charity.

“This was definitely the best of the most recent events by far.”
