Pudsey's helpers boost donations

Staff at the Slimming World HQ in Alfreton raised more than £700 for BBC's Children in Need on November 18.

More than 30 volunteers swapped their usual jobs to become Pudsey’s helpers taking part in tasks such as car washing, serving tea, tidying offices and face painting. Two fun-loving volunteers also entertained everyone by recreating the Money Supermarket dance-off.

The 300 members of staff at the company, which is currently in its 47th year, also wore yellow and spotty clothing and donated their loose change to BBC Children in Need. All of the money raised will go to support disadvantaged children and young people across the UK.
