The company has given notice that the charger provided with its self-balancing board relating to purchased made from the company's promotional stand in the Intu Derby shopping centre, or from predatorboar.co.uk.

The company said PredatorBoards are 'built to last' and have Bluetooth remote control capabilities as well as Headlights.

The boards themselves are considered safe, and only the Smart Falcon charging unit provided with model numbers C01R, L02R and L02RBT and AC adapter with moel KO1/2 is recalled.

The Smart Falcon and unbranded AC adapters may have faults which could be a fire hazard.

The recall notice said: "Anyone who has purchased a PREDATOR BOARD from the Predator promotional stand inside Intu Derby between October 2015 - January 2016 supplied with a Smart Falcon charger for models: C01R, L02R or L02RBT or an AC Adaptor charger (with no brand name) for models KO1/2 should stop using the chargers supplied as it is a potential fire hazard."

Paul Jones, manager at Predator Boards local office in Heanor, said: "We're not recalling the whole unit - we found a problem in the charger which has a potential fault. Even though it's fused, the fuze on that particular brand of charger could potentially be a hazard. Send them in and we'll send you a replacement, w."

Customers are asked to surrender the charger in a sealed bag with your name, address and postcode to the information desk at Intu Derby, or send it to Stylish Homes R Us Ltd, T/A Predator board, Bradgate House, Derby Road, Heanor.
