Problems with 101 in Derbyshire

A spokesman for Derbyshire Police said: “Due to intermittent issues with the 101 non-emergency number callers may be experiencing problems when trying to call.

“A small amount of callers have reported to us that they have been cut off whilst on the phone to our 101 number.

“We’re working hard to resolve these issues.

“If you have a genuine emergency please dial 999, the technical difficulties are not affecting this number.”
