Police launch new recruitment drive

This year all applications must be made on the Internet and prospective candidates need to complete online assessments before they qualify for an application form.

Assistant Chief Constable Dee Collins said: “We have imposed a minimum educational standard of an A level or equivalent and all applicants must hold a full, manual, driving licence.”

The first phase of the online assessment opens on May 7 and runs thorough to May 10 with the second and third phases during the following two weeks.
