Investigators have released CCTV images in connection with an assault in Derbyshire which left a man with a fractured skull and broken ankle

This man is wanted in connection with an assault in Long Eaton

Police want to speak with this man after an assault took place near the Society bar in High Street, Long Eaton, at about 3.20am on Sunday, December 13.

The 35-year-old victim was standing in the road when he was punched to the head and fell to the floor.

He was taken to Nottingham’s Queen’s Medical Centre and is now recovering.

Officers have released CCTV stills of a man they want to speak to in connection with the assault.

Images have also been issued of a car the suspect was believed to have left in, which headed in the direction of Nottingham following the assault.
