Police appeal over missing Derbyshire teenagers

Police are growing concerned for the safety of two boys who are missing from their homes.

Sixteen-year-old Brandon Storey-James, who is also known as Brandon Cottingham, is missing from Somercotes. He and his friend Leon Moore (15) from Long Eaton, went missing yesterday (Monday February 22).

Leon had stayed overnight with Brandon in Somercotes but they left the house before Brandon’s mum got up.

Brandon is five feet six inches tall, with mousey blonde hair and wears spectacles. He is possibly wearing a grey jacket, grey tracksuit bottoms, grey Nike trainers and carrying a grey bag.

Leon is five feet five inches tall, of slim build with short brown hair. He was wearing a dark jacket, black tracksuit bottoms and a baseball cap. He’ll be carrying a small black rucksack.

The boys have links to the Bulwell area of Nottingham and Manchester as well as Amber Valley and Erewash.

Anyone who has seen the boys should contact the police on 101.
