Dave Gee said the colouring sheet would help children and adults pass the time during the Covid-19 crisis.

The colouring sheet can be downloaded from Dave’s website here at a cost of £3.

Dave – who is originally from Chesterfield – was featured in the Derbyshire Times in 2018 for drawing an impressive design of Chesterfield town centre.

He told us at the time that he has always enjoyed drawing and ‘fell into’ doodling maps of UK towns and cities.

He said: “I lived in Berlin for a while and put on an exhibition at a gallery there.

“Someone told me one of my abstract pieces looked like a city from above and that’s when I got the idea of doodling maps of places.

“I drew Manchester first and it went down very well and it all stemmed from there.”
