James Cutts, 40, became the Caped Crusader on Friday and notched up nearly 13 miles dashing all over Wingerworth to put smiles on the faces of countless children and adults.

The dad-of-four, who lives in Wingerworth and owns Platform One News at Chesterfield rail station, said: “We’re all going through a tough time at the moment so I wanted to do something to make people happy.

Hide Ad“The reaction from everyone in Wingerworth was amazing – there were lots of kids and adults smiling, waving and clapping.
“The most I’ve ever run before this is just over six miles and I managed 12-and-a-half miles on this outing.
“I did, of course, strictly adhere to social distancing.
“I’m looking at doing it again in the next week or so – so keep your eyes peeled, Wingerworth!”
