Mr Royce-Dexter said: “I was in a lot of pain and saw a gang of teenagers hanging around, who came over to the bus – Keane immediately decided to call an ambulance.
"Then the three of them kept talking to me, getting me through the pain-induced brain fog and acted as lookouts for the ambulance and Stagecoach staff.
”They had taken very effective control of the situation.
"They are a credit to their parents and to themselves and should be very proud of what they did and how they acted.

Keela Darby, mother of Keane Darby, said: “I’m so proud of Keane and his actions.
"The young generation of today often get pulled over the coals for things, but it shows that some of them are good lads.
