This follows complaints from consumers in Dronfield and Chesterfield who paid high prices for large quantities of fish that turned out to be off. These complaints have come in since lockdown restrictions have started to be lifted and suggests rogue fish-sellers are back doing the rounds.

These traders are known to cold-call at houses selling fish which is often misdescribed, mislabelled or unlabelled, overpriced and sometimes underweight. They may be travelling in transit-style vans that do not have refrigeration.
