Police appeal after stolen Audi found in Chesterfield

Police are investigating after a burglary at a house in the Derbyshire village of Calver.

A red Audi A3 S Line and two bikes were stolen during the burglary, which is understood to have happened between 2.30 and 3.15am last Sunday.

Those responsible smashed the glass in a rear door at the property in Brookfields to gain access.

The car was later recovered close to Haslam Court in Chesterfield.

A Derbyshire Constabulary spokesperson said: “Did you notice a red Audi driving in the area around this time?

“Or did you see the car in the Calver area?

“Anyone with information is asked to contact us, quoting reference number 21*503365.

“We would also like to hear from anyone who has been offered bikes for sale like the ones pictured.”
