Plane zig-zags across Chesterfield’s skies

A plane has been flying backwards and forwards in the skies above Chesterfield today.

The aircraft, a Beechcraft 200 Super King Air, set off from Retford Gamston Airport in Nottinghamshire at 7.42am.

After initially heading southwards, it flew back up north and zig-zagged over the Chesterfield area several times before landing at the same airport at 12.37pm.

According to www.flightradar24.com, the aircraft is owned by Zeusch Aviation in the Netherlands.

The Beechcraft 200 Super King Air is normally used for aerial surveillance, air ambulances and flight inspection work.
