No change in Covid situation at Chesterfield Royal Hospital in last week

The coronavirus situation at Chesterfield Royal Hospital remains the same as last week.

At 10am on Tuesday, there was still one patient with a positive diagnosis of Covid-19 and that individual was still receiving critical care.

Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust has recorded a total of 442 deaths linked to the virus.

Chesterfield Royal Hospital.

At one point in January, the hospital was treating nearly 200 patients with the disease.

According to latest data, 574,390 Derbyshire residents have had their first Covid-19 vaccines and 166,850 residents have received both doses.
