Mystery remains after Derbyshire woman takes picture of ‘flying saucer’
and on Freeview 262 or Freely 565
As reported on Friday, Stephanie Marsden was driving along Chesterfield Road, Matlock, on the evening of February 27 when she spotted how big and bright the moon looked.
The 45-year-old, of Rowsley, stopped at a location off the road and used her mobile phone to take a shot of it through her front windscreen (we originally reported it was taken through a window but Stephanie has now clarified it was through the windscreen).

When Stephanie returned home, she saw what looked like a flying saucer on her picture.
Several people have contacted us to say it may be a dashboard reflection.
Stephanie said: “When I took the picture, my engine was off – there were no lights on in my car, a Suzuki Vitara.
“My dashboard is also covered.

“Since that night I’ve been in the car in the dark and taken more pictures – but there are no reflections.
“It’s very strange.”
