Julie enjoys visiting Chatsworth through the different seasons and seeing the herds of deer.

This is an incredible place to visit, particularly through all the different seasons of the year. I especially love the herds of red and fallow deer who are frequently seen when walking through the park.

Favourite landmark – Crooked Spire

Having visited the church so many times as child, it is still an iconic place for me and always reminds me of home.

Favourite restaurant – Stones of Matlock

Chesterfield Crooked Spire reminds Julie of home.

This is a beautiful modern restaurant with fine cuisine and ideal for a special night out.

Favourite pub – Peacock Inn at Barlow

The food, especially the Sunday lunch, is wonderful. The pub has a warm and friendly atmosphere with an open fire and the customer service is excellent.

Favourite shop – Bigwicks, Chesterfield

Modern restaurant with fine cuisine attracts Julie to Stones restaurant in Matlock.

It sells a beautiful collection of candles and aromatherapy products with great gifts for birthdays and Christmas.

Bigwicks aromatherapy products and candles make great gifts for Christmas and birthdays, says Julie.
