Favourite place to visit – Chatsworth House and Park

Julie enjoys visiting Chatsworth through the different seasons and seeing the herds of deer.Julie enjoys visiting Chatsworth through the different seasons and seeing the herds of deer.

This is an incredible place to visit,particularly through all the different seasons of the year. I especially love the herds of red and fallow deer who are frequently seen when walking through the park.

Favourite landmark – Crooked Spire

Having visited the church so many times as child, it is still an iconic place for me and always reminds me of home.

Favourite restaurant – Stones of Matlock

This is a beautiful modern restaurant with fine cuisine and ideal for a special night out.

Favourite pub – Peacock Inn at Barlow

The food, especially the Sunday lunch, is wonderful. The pub has a warm and friendly atmosphere with an open fire and the customer service is excellent.

Favourite shop – Bigwicks, Chesterfield

It sells a beautiful collection of candles and aromatherapy products with great gifts for birthdays and Christmas.
