Multiple vehicles in Derbyshire side streets broken into with 'unknown device'

Police are investigating after a ‘multitude’ of vehicles in Barlborough were broken into and items stolen.

The crimes happened in the early hours of Sunday.

A spokesperson for Bolsover and Clowne Police Safter Neighbourhood Team said: “A multitude of vehicles on a number of side streets off Slayley View Road were unlocked with an unknown device and items stolen from the vehicles.

“We are appealing for all residents in the relevant areas to check their CCTV and forward with any footage which may show suspicious activity.

“We’re particularly interested in any vehicles that hooded individuals may be seen getting in and out of.”
