A mountain rescue team was called after walkers became lost in the snow in the Peak District.
Derbyshire Police asked Buxton Mountain Rescue Team to help out after receiving a call from two walkers who had lost their bearings near Grindsbrook yesterday, Thursday, December 3, just before 3.30pm.
“As darkness fell it was important to find them quickly due to snowy weather,” said Buxton Mountain Rescue Team.
“Once located safe and well they were walked by the team back to Edale.”
