Despite best efforts the animal centre has been unable to find him the forever home he so desperately needs.

Steph McCawley, Supporter Engagement Officer said: “Many efforts trying to promote gorgeous Kyle on our social media channels we have been unable to get him noticed.”

Kyle developed a severe ear infection which was not treated by a vet which left him to gradually get worse and was in incredible pain and discomfort so much so he would react to anyone touching his head out of fear of the pain.

Gary Taylor, Animal Centre Manager added: “As soon as Kyle arrived with us we took him straight to the vets to begin treatment immediately. The ear infection was so serious it has taken months of care to help him to recover. He is naturally still afraid of his head being touched despite being desperate to

have affection by offering his head to be fussed to then remember the pain he was once in. The staff has been working painstakingly with him to build trust and confidence which we can see he wants to do again.”

Steph added: “We understand his age and condition may put potential new owners off however this handsome boy is as beautiful in nature as he is to the eye and has a lot of life and love still to give. All he wants it to know he is cared for and loved and would urge anyone who has the right home to contact us for more information.”
