Nine dogs being cared for by volunteers at Chesterfield RSPCA are looking for forever homes.
While a few of the rescue animals will need a bit of training, all of them will need loving and dedicated owners who can provide them with a safe and comfortable place to live.
In return these four-legged friends will provide companionship and an opportunity for exercise that their new families might not otherwise have had.
Stanley is a seven-year-old cross breed who is friendly, loves cuddles and going for walks. He would benefit from basic training. Stanley would prefer to live in an adult only household and be the only animal in the home. Photo: Chesterfield and North Derbyshire RSPCA
Luna is just over three years old and a lurcher type. She is very active but will need some basic training that includes learning how to play, that it's okay to be left alone and she may also require some behavioural support. Luna would prefer an adult-only household where she is the only animal in the home. Photo: Chesterfield and North Derbyshire RSPCA
Hunter is a poodle, aged 6 years and four months old, who is clever and lovable. He is prone to becoming panicky and worried in unfamiliar environments or when he's placed under undue stress. Hunter is looking for an experienced owner in an adult only household where he would prefer to be the only dog in the home. Photo: Chesterfield and North Derbyshire RSPCA
Storm is a cross breed, aged one year and three months old, who is stranger friendly, sociable and bold. She will need an experienced owner who can give her some basic training. Storm can be left on her own for short periods and would prefer to live in an adult only household where she would be the only animal in the home. Photo: Chesterfield and North Derbyshire RSPCA
