Firefighters tackle another Derbyshire moorland blaze
Firefighters have been dealing with another moorland fire in the High Peak.
Crews from Glossop attended the scene at Hollybank Quarry in Tintwistle on Thursday evening.
They said: “Unfortunately on this occasion, wildlife have been affected.
"This is the fourth fire at this location within a three week period – please keep our open spaces safe.”
Firefighters have dealt with a number of moorland fires in recent weeks, many of which are thought to have been caused by disposable barbecues.
