Firefighters extinguish car blaze on Chesterfield road
A car fire which broke out on a Chesterfield road this morning has now been extinguished.
Firefighters from Staveley were called to the blaze on Worksop Road, Mastin Moor, at around 7.10am today (Wednesday, September 29).
Images taken from the scene showed flames beneath the engine of the car, which was stopped at the side of the road.
A spokesperson for Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service said fire crews extinguished the blaze and made the scene safe before handing it to Derbyshire police.
