Nine-year-old Olivia suffers from a number of conditions, including severe asthma, hypermobility syndrome and cyanosis, which is caused by a shortage of oxygen in the blood and can result in her lips going blue.

“This little girl forever has a smile on her face and doesn’t let things beat her,” parents Amanda and Ryan said.

She will complete 2,000 steps with her walking frame over the next few weeks.

Six-year-old Esmè-Eliza also has asthma and was diagnosed with coeliac disease a few years ago.

Amanda and Ryan said: “She again is such a smiley little girl who really tries her best in everything that she does.”

Once the lockdown is over, Esmè-Eliza will sell gluten-free cakes.

“They have been attending the hospital since they were babies.

“With what’s happening in the world at the moment, they decided they wanted to try and help the hospital for everything they have done for them.

“For two little girls to think to do this is just amazing.”
