Derbyshire school forced to shut due to lack of water

A school in Derbyshire has been forced to close today (March 22).

Stonebroom Primary and Nursery School, in Alfreton, said the emergency closure was due to issues with its water supply.

In a statement to parents, the school added that it planned to reopen to all pupils for lunch at 11:40am.

A similar incident happened at Stonebroom Primary in November last year when it was forced to close to staff and pupils after it was discovered there was no water and heating.
