Here we make space to recognise those whose deaths have been announced in the pages of the Derbyshire Times this week.

13. Evelyn Bagshaw, Inkersall
Born in Staveley, as an adult Evelyn moved across the border to Mansfield Woodhouse before returning to north-east Derbyshire in retirement, most recently at the Willows Care Home in Woodthorpe. She passed away at Chesterfield Royal Hospital, aged 97. A career civil servant, she also held various positions at Inkersall Methodist Church, having grown up in the nearby Zion Chapel. Those roles included work with the Girlguiding movement and leading youth clubs. For pleasure, she turned to baking, ballroom dancing and crosswords. Predeceased by her husband Kenneth, Evelyn leaves her sister Isla. Read more at tinyurl.com/Evelyn-Bagshaw. | Contributed
