Derbyshire mountain rescue team help recover body found in Peak District

Mountain rescue teams were called in to help recover a body found in the Peak District.

Edale Mountain Rescue Team were contacted by police force at 4pm on Wednesday, March 24, to help recover the body from land above Hathersage.

Mountain rescue team members helped officers in recovering the dead body and transporting the person back to the road.

In a post on Facebook, Edale Mountain Rescue Team said: “The team would like to offer our sincere condolences to the family on this very sad day.”
