Andrea said: “As everyone is aware, at present it is all about fundraising for the NHS which is brilliant but these funds are mainly going to secondary care and patients in the community don't benefit.
“We want to improve the palliative care in the area – we only have 4 syringe drivers for our patients – so we are aiming to raise £1,500 by having our hair shaved.
“We’ve called the fundraising ‘Being Bald for Bolsover’.”
They will have their hair shaved off outside Welbeck Road Health Centre at 12.30pm on June 4.
People can watch but they must abide by the social distancing rules.

Hide AdSyringe drivers are commonly used for people living with a terminal illness.
The device is a small battery-powered pump which delivers medication at a constant rate through a small plastic tube under the skin.
It is sometimes called a continuous subcutaneous infusion.
Andrea is a nurse manager, Janine is a dispensary supervisor, Jac is a receptionist and Gren works in maintenance.
