Derbyshire County Council closes two roads because of snow

Derbyshire County Council has closed the A57 Snake Pass and the A6024 Holme Moss because of snow.

A county council spokesperson said: “We gritted all primary routes from 4am and we've had gritters out on the high routes of the Peak District all morning.

“All primary and secondary routes will be gritted again this afternoon.”
