Leya Clephane-Lewis, who was single and lived on Worksop Road, Mastin Moor, near Chesterfield, died at Chesterfield Royal Hospital on August 17 this year, an inquest heard.

Chesterfield coroners’ court was told a post-mortem had revealed the cause of death to be hypoxic brain injury and ligature suspension.

Adjourning the hearing to a future date, Derbyshire assistant coroner Emma Serrano passed on her deepest condolences to Miss Clephane-Lewis’ family.
