A coroner is to investigate the death of a Staveley man.

Damian Shaun Bullas, otherwise known as Damian Shaun Pashley, of Leander Court, died at Chesterfield Royal Hospital on Thursday.

During the opening of his inquest at Chesterfield Coroner’s Court on Friday, it was revealed the 32-year-old’s cause of death was listed as bronchopneumonia, an overdose of pregabalin, morbid obesity, schizophrenia and cellulitis.

Coroner Susan Evans said the circumstances surrounding his death would need to be investigated at a full inquest in the future.
