A new tenant is being sought for the former Burger King building in Chesterfield town centre.

Franchisee SSP Group PLC operated the restaurant at 2 Steeplegate but it closed a number of years ago.

SSP Group PLC has this week confirmed it no longer holds the lease on the building.

The property is now being marketed by real estate professionals Harper Dennis Hobbs, who describe it as a ‘prominent corner unit’.

Rent is £65,000 per annum and business rates payable in 2019-20 were £29,484.
