Rio Gaunt joked to classmates he would be arriving at the event by helicopter but actually thought his dad would be dropping him off at the prom, held at Ringwood Hall.
This comment got his dad thinking and he secretly organised for Rio and his three friends to be flown to the event.
Rio was joined by Harley, Alex and Caelam with all parents contributing to the unforgettable experience which saw the students taken on a flight around the area before landing at Ringwood Hall.
