Chesterfield road closed after car flips on to its roof

A woman suffered injuries after a collision in Chesterfield.

Police and firefighters were called to the incident on Slack Lane at around 3.40pm on Wednesday.

A Derbyshire Constabulary spokesperson said: “It was a one-car collision.

Police attended the collision.Police attended the collision.

“A Peugeot 208 was on its roof.

“The driver, a woman in her 20s, had minor injuries.

“The road was closed to allow the car to be righted by the fire service.

“The car was then recovered.”

The road was reopened at 4.30pm, the spokesperson added.
