Chris Turner, Chair of the Chesterfield in Bloom committee, said: “Our Chesterfield in Bloom competitions always receive lots of entries and they are always of a really high standard, making the judging process very difficult.

“I know over the last year lots of people have put a lot of time into enhancing their gardens and outdoor space, I cannot wait to see what they have achieved.”

There is also an exclusive competition for council tenants, and entries are invited for Best Garden – front or back – and Best Containers.

The schools’ competition makes a return this year too.

Entries close on Friday, June 18. Entry forms are available via www.chesterfield.gov.uk/In-Bloom-Competitions or contact [email protected]/ 01246 959532.
