Fourteen-year-old Logan Folger died at Sheffield Children’s Hospital after being rescued from the River Rother, close to the Chesterfield Canal, by emergency teams.
The opening of Logan’s inquest heard he was trying to save one of his friends from the water when they got into difficulty on August 18.

Stacey said: “A family member went to where the accident happened to try and gather Logan's things which were left at the side of the river bank where he and another friend were sat listening to music.
"Unfortunately the contents of Logan's grey Nike bum bag had been emptied out and the bag had been taken along with his Bluetooth speaker.”
Stacey says the items have huge sentimental value for the family.

"So I'm begging if anyone either taken them or has since brought them please please could I have them back as they mean so much to me and us as a family.
"No judgement will be made, no names will be mentioned. I just need my boy’s beloved belongings back.
"Even if you don't want to tell me where you got them from just please can I have them back?
"I beg you, someone must know where they are.”

Stacey has thanked the community for giving her hero son a ‘perfect’ final journey after his funeral earlier this month.
She said the turn out for Logan Folger’s funeral procession was ‘amazing’ and her son would have ‘loved every part of it’.
Stacey told the Derbyshire Times: “It was absolutely amazing from start to finish for our hero! I personally thank everyone who helped to make my boy’s final journey perfect.”
Reverend Richard Harris described the much-loved and popular teenager as ‘a hero to his family, to his friends, to this community’.
