The Blind Badger Cocktail Company, owned by Chesterfield couple Chloë Moss and Richard Mount, was set up in March this year.

Chloë said: “We were inspired by challenges we all faced during the pandemic to create a business to help to bring people together, whether that be a date night, a family get-together or a catch up with your besties, and our cocktails being the catalyst that enables this.

“We have purposefully tried to work with other small businesses while building our brand and we’re looking forward to making more connections.

“We have some special offers coming up throughout the 100 days in celebration of our place in the scheme, which will be shared on our social media pages, and we’re really excited to get involved in the opportunities that Small Biz 100 2021 will offer.”

Now in its ninth year, Small Business Saturday UK 2021 is calling on the nation to share a ‘big thank you’ with small firms to recognise their vital role throughout the pandemic.

Michelle Ovens, director of Small Business Saturday UK, said: “Throughout the crisis we have been reminded of the special role that small firms play in local areas, looking after their customers, communities and the planet.

“We are excited to be kicking off this year’s campaign to show our thanks to amazing small businesses like the Blind Badger Cocktail Company.

“As firms recover from the challenges of the pandemic we are calling upon everyone to get behind the campaign to make it our most impactful Small Business Saturday yet.”
