Chesterfield basks in sunny weather and 21C for another day - but when will heatwave end?

Chesterfield is enjoying a second consecutive day of temperatures well above the March average – but when will the mini-heatwave come to an end?

Although the weather remains dry tomorrow and into the Easter weekend, residents are being warned to expect a big dip in temperatures.

Tomorrow the mercury will plunge to 10C – closer to average but half the temperature we have enjoyed on Tuesday and Wednesday.

And it is a similar picture for Easter, with dry weather predominating but temperatures stalled at around 10 or 11C.

There is even a warning some parts of Derbyshire could see wintry showers, with the Met Office saying Buxton will get a dusting of snow in the early hours of Monday.
