Chesterfield bar launches fundraising drive to help NHS staff during coronavirus pandemic
A Chesterfield bar has launched an online fundraising campaign to help NHS staff during the coronavirus crisis.
Einstein’s has set up this JustGiving page with the aim of raising £5,000 to purchase food to give to NHS staff and their families in the area.
A spokesperson for Einstein’s said: “Here at Einstein’s we want to repurpose our contacts, skills and services for the good of some of those who are most in need during this incredibly tricky time.
“We cannot begin to imagine how challenging this may be for frontline health and NHS employees as they set off on a daily basis, placing themselves in danger to help others.
“You will have seen the sorry stories on the news of exhausted NHS workers arriving at supermarkets to find empty shelves – together, we can help to combat that.
“Our plan to shed a little sunshine and ease the load a little.”
