The beer, called ‘Golden Goo-Beer-Lee Creme Stout’, will be launched in collaboration with Goose Island Brewery, and it will have the texture of one of the UK’s favourite Easter treats

Raphael Capitani, Cadbury Creme Egg brand manager, said: “We’re excited to announce our collaboration with Goose Island and limited-edition Golden Goo-Beer-Lee Creme Stout that is available now for all Cadbury Creme Egg lovers to try.

“We have always celebrated the unique and wonderful ways of enjoying a Cadbury Creme Egg and with this launch we are taking EATertainment to a whole new level.

"We can’t wait for people to try our very first beer and raise a glass to five delicious decades of Cadbury Creme Egg.”

The brewery have used milk sugar to replicate the iconic ‘Creme Egg goo’ (as implied in its name), and cocoa and vanilla beans have been added to give the beverage its sweet, Creme Egg-inspired taste.

The brewers have said that the dark, oaty beverage is best served, and indulged in, in the shell of the Easter confectionary itself.

A limited amount of the beer will be on sale online today, March 3 from www.gooseislandshop.com in packs of two 440ml cans for £10.
