Bolsover firefighter retires after 14 years serving the community

An on-call firefighter who has retired after served the community for 14 years.

Firefighter Robert Sherman joined the crew at Bolsover Fire Station in 2006.

He said goodbye to his crew mates when he retired from the station on Fridaynight.

A certificate was presented to Robert by his colleagues from Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service.

A spokesperson for the station comm ented: “We have said farewell and happy retirement to firefighter Robert Sherman after 14 years serving Bolsover.

“Thank you for your excellent commitment to community.

“All the best for the future.”
