Biker in 'serious' condition after colliding with wall in north Derbyshire

A motorbike rider remains in hospital in a serious condition after colliding with a wall in north Derbyshire.

Police officers are appealing for witnesses to come forward as they continue their investigations into the incident.

At about 7pm on Saturday, April 17, a blue Kawasaki Ninja ZX bike was traveling along the B6418 in Clowne, where Low Road becomes Cliff Hill.

The bike left the carriageway and collided with a wall.

The driver was taken to hospital, where he remains.

A Derbyshire Constabulary spokesperson said: “We are appealing for any witnesses to the collision, or anyone who saw the bike before the incident, to come forward.

"We also want to hear from anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage that may have filmed along the B6418 or A632 around the relevant time.”
