Have you got space in your heart and home to adopt a rescue dog from Chesterfield RSPCA?
The charity’s volunteers are currently looking for dedicated people who will give 11 pooches the love and attention that they are longing for.
There are three Belgian Malinois cross puppies, a chihuahua cross terrier, two Staffy cross, a Siberian husky pup, a French bulldog, a lurcher type and two cross breeds including a puppy.
Zak is tiny for a Siberian husky but as he's only seven months old there's still plenty of time for him to grow. He is a bright spark who is in need of an experienced owner and basic training. Zak could live with children of 11 to 15 years and maybe in a household where there is already a dog but not one with a cat. Photo: Chesterfield and North Derbyshire RSPCA
Clyde is an eight-month-old cross breed who has basic house training and can obey commands. He is shy until he gets to know people and can get worried by strangers. Clyde is looking for an experienced owner in an adults-only household. Photo: Chesterfield and North Derbyshire RSPCA
Stanley is a seven-year-old cross breed who came to the RSPCA with his skin scoured and his ears infected after living in a scrapyard where his life was bound by barbed wire, bricks and brutality. He has cast off the torment of his previous existence to emerge as a personable and friendly dog. Stanley will need an experienced owner who can give him basic training and would prefer to be the only animal in an adults-only household. Photo: Chesterfield and North Derbyshire RSPCA
Rosaleen is a ten-week-old Belgian Malinois cross who is an affectionate, calm and inquisitive pup who loves to play. She is making great progress with house training. Photo: Chesterfield and North Derbyshire RSPCA
