14. River Lathkill
River Lathkill, which has its source at Monyash, near Bakewell, flows through the Derbyshire Dales until it joins the River Wye at Rowsley. It is unique, as the only river in the area that flows exclusively over limestone, and it provides a very relaxing walking trail. Depending on which direction you decide to walk, you could end at either the Peacock at Rowsley or The Bulls Head at Monyash. Photo: Photo © Andrew Hill (cc-by-sa/2.0)

15. Kinder Downfall
It might take a few hours to reach this spot, but it is well worth the climb for the amazing views of this waterfall on the edge of Kinder Scout. Photo: © Dave Dunford - geograph.org.uk/p/50573

Named 'the seaside town without the sea', Matlock Bath, 1.5 miles south of Matlock, is known for its colourful buildings set alongside the River Derwent. It's been a popular tourist destination since the late 17th century when spa waters were discovered here. Photo: Brian Eyre
