Peak and Dales volunteering open day
Are you living with a long term health condition or a disability?
This can for some people lead to feeling increasingly isolated and being undervalued.

Hide AdElaine Hill of the Peaks & Dales Volunteering and Advancement Project would like invite people to a drop in information day 28th October at the Arc Leisure centre she will be there from 11am till 2pm and light refreshments will be provided.
You are invited to come along to find out more about the project and the Personal Empowerment course to be run in Matlock during November. The course is to be run over 5 sessions with a visit to the Disability History Month Event to be held at The Devonshire Dome, Derby University Buxton Campus on 25th November.
The Course is free to people living with a disability and covers such subjects as life choices, the Seven Needs for Independent Living, the Equality Act 2010, volunteering opportunities and skills.
You may want to know how to get involved with local and national consultations which affect the lives of disabled people and their families. Or you may just want to see some new faces in a friendly supportive atmosphere.
