Parents pull kids out of failing school
Fifteen children have been removed from the St Giles Primary School since the start of September – representing 14 per cent of the total number of pupils.
Parents who have spoken to the Mercury have raised concerns over the running of the school, which was put into special measures after the report was published in September.

Everyone involved with the school - parents, governors, staff and the local authority - are all determined to drive up standards. The children remain our primary focus. For a variety of reasons 15 children have left the school since September.”
