Pair trapped in lift in Chesterfield

Firefighters rescued two people who were trapped in a lift in Chesterfield.

Crews were sent to Piccadilly Heights at 3.20pm on Saturday and came to the aid of the pair who were in a stuck lift.

A Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "Firefighters released the occupants and a lift engineer was en route to the premise."
