YOUR VIEW: using your headlights doesn't increase your electricity bills

I think that many Derbyshire folk think that turning their car lights on is adding to their electricity bill.

When it is very dull, misty and almost dark there are some people who do not turn on their lights.

I thought that the Highway Code says ‘see and be seen’.

It is difficult to see these vehicles in dim dark conditions.

Come on Derbyshire folk, use a bit of common sense.
