Officers check over vehicles

Coaches and taxis were given the once over by officers as part of a safety campaign.

PCSO’s Hayley Grundy and Anthony Boswell were joined by the Vehicle and Operator Services Agency (VOSA) to carry out vehicle safety checks of coaches and taxis that are used to transport children to school in Bakewell.

During the operation, officers checked the safety of the vehicles to ensure that they were fitted with the correct Tachograph seatbelts, seat mountings and that the tyres fitted legal requirements.
