Derby Crown Court heard this month how Cameron Freestone, 28, of Dimple Road, Matlock, scratched his ex’s Audi and was ordered not to contact her.

But he was put into custody, according to a previous court hearing, after his ex spotted him in two pubs and he phoned her.

Freestone pleaded guilty to causing criminal damage after the incident in June and admitted breaching his bail conditions by contacting his ex in July. He also admitted stealing spirits in June. Julie Page, defending, said Freestone has had a drug problem. He is to be sentenced at Derby Crown Court on September 3.
