New Mills kids attempt world record
To celebrate Food Revolution Day on Friday, pupils at St George’s School in New Mills took part in the world’s largest live cooking lesson led by Jamie Oliver.
At 2pm, he showed the children via an online video how to make a nutritious rainbow salad wrap of beetroot, carrot, cabbage and pear.
The young chefs at the Church Lane school are part of Jamie’s Guinness world record attempt for the most participants in a cookery lesson in 24 hours.
